Ethereum Shatters Transaction Records in Q2 2026
Ethereum's base layer processed an all-time high of 203.9 million transactions during Q2 2026, marking a significant increase in onchain usage.
Transaction activity climbed 68.4% from the same period last year, with average network throughput reaching 25.9 transactions per second.
Ethereum's staking participation also reached a new high of 32%, with 312.1 million addresses holding ETH.
The increase in staking participation highlights Ethereum's continued balance between network security, capital participation, and demand for block space.
