Ethereum Smashes Through $2,200 Resistance
Ethereum (ETH) has broken above $2,200 for the first time in recent sessions, reaching an all-time high of over 8% growth. This milestone comes after ETH cleared multiple resistance levels and formed a bullish trend line on the hourly chart with support at $2,100.
The rally began when ETH pushed through the $2,050 zone, mirroring a broader recovery pattern seen in Bitcoin (BTC). From there, bulls drove the price past the $2,120 resistance and the 76.4% Fibonacci retracement level of the prior decline from $2,209 to $2,062.
Immediate resistance now sits at $2,245, with further upside targets at $2,280, $2,320, $2,365, and $2,380. However, failure to clear $2,250 could trigger a pullback toward $2,200 initially, then $2,180 and $2,150.
Technical indicators are reinforcing the bullish case, with the hourly MACD for the ETH/USD pair gaining momentum in positive territory, while the RSI has moved above the 50 level. This suggests that buying pressure currently outweighs selling, favoring the bulls' continued upside attempts toward the $2,250-$2,280 range.
