Ethereum, Solana, and Base Dominate Euro Stablecoin Market
The euro stablecoin market has experienced an astonishing growth spurt in recent times. According to available data, as of mid-August 2026, the total euro stablecoin market cap stands at approximately $835 million.
This significant expansion represents a staggering increase from roughly €50 million recorded at the start of 2024.
A trio of blockchain networks - Ethereum, Solana, and Base - have emerged as dominant forces in this market. Collectively, they account for an impressive 91.5% of all euro stablecoin market capitalization.
Ethereum boasts a substantial share of the market with about 69.5%, translating to between $579 million and $589 million in euro stablecoin supply on its network. Solana trails closely behind with around 14.8% of the market, while Base takes third place with approximately 6.9%.
The impact of MiCA, a regulatory framework governing stablecoins, has been a significant factor in this market's growth. MiCA-compliant stablecoin supply reached about $674 million by mid-2026, signifying that most euro stablecoins now operate under recognized regulations.
