Ethereum, Solana, and Base Dominate Euro Stablecoin Market
The euro stablecoin market is dominated by three blockchains: Ethereum, Solana, and Base. These networks collectively hold 91.5% of the circulating supply of euro-pegged stablecoins.
According to a recent report, the total market capitalization for these instruments reached $835 million at the end of August 2026, up from around €50 million in early 2024.
The Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation has driven this growth, with approximately $674 million of circulating supply complying with European legislation. Circle's EURC token and SG-Forge's EUR CoinVertible (EURCV) token are the leading issuers, accounting for over 80% of total circulation.
Ethereum leads with a 69.5% share, followed by Solana at 14.8%, and Base at 6.9%. The remaining 17 blockchain networks hold only 8.5% of the market.
