Ethereum Spot ETFs Log Second Consecutive Day of Net Inflows
The Ethereum spot ETF market has seen consecutive days of net inflows, a trend that started on July 31. According to Farside Investors' data, U.S. spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds recorded approximately $9 million in net inflows on this day.
This modest but sustained interest comes as investors assess the asset class's role in diversified portfolios. BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) led the day with $15.4 million in net inflows, while other major funds saw outflows. Fidelity's Ethereum Fund (FETH), Bitwise's Ethereum Strategy ETF (ETHW), and Grayscale's Mini Ethereum Trust (ETH) all experienced outflows.
The divergence highlights a market where investor preference is increasingly concentrated in a few dominant products. Since their launch in July 2024, spot Ethereum ETFs have experienced volatile flows, with cumulative net inflows now hovering around $500 million, a stark contrast to the multi-billion-dollar inflows seen by Bitcoin ETFs.
