Ethereum has solidified its position as the leading blockchain for stablecoin transactions after reporting a significant surge in stablecoin market capitalization. The increase of $400 million within a single 24-hour window pushed Ethereum's stablecoin market cap to approximately $162.3 billion.

This represents more than half of the total global stablecoin supply, which currently sits at roughly $297.8 billion across 46 blockchains. Ethereum now commands 54.5% of the total, while Tron holds the second-largest share with $93.2 billion and 31.3% market capitalization.

The growth in Ethereum's stablecoin activity underlines broader confidence in the network among developers, institutions, and individual users. The ongoing adoption and integration by institutions and DeFi applications continue to accelerate network activity.
