Ethereum Staking Surges to Record Highs Amid Crypto Liquidity Concerns
Ethereum's staked supply has reached an all-time high of 41.4 million ETH, representing roughly 34% of the total ETH supply.
This trend is further supported by recent data from Lookonchain, which shows that over 1.4 million ETH have moved into staking in just the past week alone.
As more investors lock their ETH in staking, the amount of liquid ETH available to trade decreases, potentially leading to tighter market liquidity and a bigger impact on price even from relatively small buying or selling pressure.
The stablecoin market is also experiencing a decline, with STABLE.C (the total stablecoin market cap) down 1.6% this quarter, marking its worst quarterly performance on record.
