Ethereum Staking Yields New Opportunities for Investors
Ethereum staking has become a practical tool for managing ETH, no longer just a niche topic in the crypto world. Large investors are increasingly using Ethereum, and yields from participating in the proof-of-stake mechanism are coming into focus on corporate balance sheets and investment strategies.
The process of Ethereum staking involves placing ETH to participate in the operation of the Proof-of-Stake network. Instead of mining, the network uses validators who confirm transactions, propose new blocks, and receive rewards for this. To independently launch a validator, one needs 32 ETH, configured software, and continuously running infrastructure.
The yield of ETH staking is usually measured as an annual percentage and ranges from 2-5% per year. The final rate changes based on several factors: the number of validators, total amount of staked ETH, fees, MEV, and chosen staking method.
