Ethereum Stalls at $1,920 as Fear and Regulation Uncertainty Weigh
Ethereum's price stalled at around $1,920 on July 30 as it struggled to break through the $2,000 resistance level. The token has been consolidating below this threshold for several sessions, with sellers repeatedly appearing near the upper end of the $1,970, $1,980 range.
The daily chart shows immediate resistance near $1,938, an area that previously acted as support in February and March. Ethereum's latest candles have formed directly below this level, suggesting buyers and sellers are waiting for a stronger catalyst before taking control.
Momentum has started to flatten, with the daily relative strength index standing at 58, keeping ETH above neutral territory but below overbought levels. The MACD remained positive, although its lines were converging and the histogram had slipped slightly below zero.
