Ethereum Stuck Below $1,900 as Analysts Predict Breakout Above $2,000
Ethereum's price has been stuck below $1,900 since late July, leaving the psychological $2,000 level out of reach. The daily chart shows Ethereum trading below its 20-day and 100-day simple moving averages, but still holding above the 50-day SMA.
The Bull Bear Power indicator suggests sellers retain a small advantage, while the Aroon Up reading indicates weak momentum. However, analysts remain bullish on Ethereum's potential to break through $2,000.
Michaël van de Poppe identified $1,800 as the crucial support level and expects a breakout above $2,000 to bring $2,300-$2,500 within reach. The proposal of EIP-8361, which would gradually burn validator rewards, is also gaining attention and has divided members of the Ethereum ecosystem.
