Ethereum Stuck in Range as ETF Inflows Reach Five-Week High
Ethereum (ETH) continues to struggle with breaking above $1,900 despite strong institutional demand through spot Ethereum ETFs.
The price of ETH recently tested $1,920 before falling back toward $1,875, while buyers have defended the support around $1,850 throughout the recent trading range.
The sellers continue to block moves above $1,900, keeping Ethereum inside a narrow August range. The technical picture also shows limited bullish momentum, with ETH trading below the 20-day moving average near $1,881 and the 50-day moving average slightly higher at $1,893.
However, ETF activity offers a more encouraging signal for Ethereum bulls, with US spot Ethereum ETFs attracting $245 million between August 3 and August 7. This result marked five consecutive weeks of positive weekly flows, led by BlackRock's ETHA with $203 million in inflows and Fidelity's FETH with $24.2 million during the same period.
