Ethereum Supported by Institutional Demand Amid Network Activity Concerns

Ethereum has been hovering near $2,500 after falling 3.60% in 24 hours, thanks to sustained institutional buying.

Nine consecutive days of Ethereum ETF inflows have helped keep demand alive even as the token slipped in the short term.

The divergence between Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF flows on August 28 tells its own story: while U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a $202 million net outflow that day, snapping their own nine-day inflow streak, spot Ethereum ETFs moved in the opposite direction, taking in $102 million in net inflows.

Ethereum's recent pullback from above $2,400 looks less like a reversal and more like a natural pause after holders who bought lower finally had room to sell at a profit.
