Ethereum Surges 29% in Single Week, Outpaces Bitcoin Amid Rotational Frenzy
Ethereum has seen its largest weekly gain in over a year, surging approximately 29% over the past week and outpacing Bitcoin's 21.4% rise.
Fundstrat co-founder Tom Lee declared that the long-anticipated capital rotation into Ethereum has finally begun, citing tokenization, stablecoins, and AI applications as structural drivers.
Lee stated that Ether could exceed $10,000 within two years, a figure representing an increase of roughly 306% from current prices.
Bitcoin posted its largest dollar-denominated weekly gain on record, adding $14,264 to close at $77,387 for the week ending Aug. 22.
