Ethereum Surges Above $2,000 as Broader Crypto Market Gains Momentum
Ethereum (ETH) has broken above the $2,000 mark for the first time since June 2, as the broader crypto market gains momentum. The surge comes after a wave of short liquidations and improved liquidity conditions, with Bitcoin reaching new heights near $69,700.
Rising ETF inflows have also contributed to Ethereum's rally, with spot ETH ETFs recording significant daily net inflows of approximately $71.47 million. However, technical indicators show that ETH is heavily overbought, leaving the cryptocurrency vulnerable to a short-term pullback.
The key resistance level for Ethereum now stands at around $2,100, while support comes in at $2,000 and potentially lower levels such as $1,960 if the price reverses sharply. The next few trading sessions will be crucial in determining whether Ethereum's move above $2,000 becomes a foundation for a larger recovery or another temporary breakout.
