Ethereum Surges Above $2,400 as Hayes Sets Sights on $10,000
Ethereum's price rebounded above $2,400 after recovering from a 24-hour low near $2,357, keeping the bullish setup intact. This move is significant as it reclaims key weekly levels and puts the focus back on Ethereum.
Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, expects Ethereum to reach $10,000 by the end of 2026. He ties this prediction to stronger dollar liquidity through Federal Reserve balance sheet expansion and Treasury bond buybacks. Hayes also anticipates a decline in the EURJPY exchange rate from around 185 to 140 or lower by mid-2027.
Currently, Ethereum's price is testing a major resistance cluster around $2,547. A confirmed weekly breakout above this zone could open the path toward the next resistance near $3,250. However, rejection from the current resistance would put the $2,200 area back in focus as the first major support.
