Ethereum Surpasses $2,500: Bullish and Bearish Predictions Abound
Ethereum has surpassed the $2,500 milestone, sparking a mix of bullish and bearish predictions from market analysts.
The second-largest cryptocurrency rose by 2% over the past 24 hours, fueling optimism among some observers. X user Gerla believes that breaking above $2,500 could mark the beginning of a new bull run for ETH, while losing rising support may hinder its overall uptrend.
Ted suggested that a weekly close above $2,550 could lead to further price increases, potentially reaching as high as $3,000. However, KriptoXI warned that a plunge below $2,400 could weaken bullish momentum and trigger a deeper pullback.
Crypto Patel believes Ethereum's current path resembles past market cycles, suggesting that the next target could be above $20,000 if history repeats itself. Meanwhile, Credible Crypto also floated the idea of a parabolic increase in ETH's valuation.
However, not everyone shares this optimism. Nonzee expects a similar scenario to BTC's recent decline and predicts a 40% collapse for Ethereum. The analyst described the asset's breakout as a trap and believes that ETH must retest $1,500 before starting a bull run to $4,500.
