Ethereum Teeters on Brink as Price Compression Reaches Critical Juncture
Ethereum (ETH) has been trading near the $2,000 level, experiencing price compression as volatility and momentum continue to fade. Analyst CyrilXBT notes that ETH touched $2,400 in mid-March but failed to sustain its rally, instead trending lower toward the 200 EMA at $2,104.
The moving average now serves as a crucial support line, with the price squeezing into a tight range between $1,800 and $2,300. A daily close above $2,200 would be the first clear sign of strength for ETH, while a failure to break this level could lead to a test of the $2,000 mark.
Analyst Minga frames ETH's recent trading within a high-timeframe range defined by its 2021 all-time high and 2022 bear market low. The recommended approach is to trade at specific levels rather than chasing extended trends.
