Ethereum Tokenization Reaches New Heights
Ethereum's tokenization bid has gained momentum as assets on its network have surpassed $17 billion. According to data from RWA.xyz, Ethereum's Distributed Asset Value (DAV), which tracks real-world assets (RWA) tokens using the blockchain as a distribution layer, was at $17.36 billion on August 14.
This significant growth in tokenization has also led to an increase in active addresses on the network. Ethereum's active addresses Simple Moving Average (SMA) 7 was at 476,048, up from 373,113 on July 20, according to metrics from CryptoQuant.
The rising tokenization bid on Ethereum's blockchain is happening in tandem with a rebound in the ETH price, which has recently broken out of its multi-month bear market. Analysts believe that if tokenization continues to grow, it could fuel further rises in active addresses and reduce selling pressure on the ETH price.
