Ethereum Tokenization Surges Past $17 Billion
Ethereum's tokenization efforts have gained significant momentum in recent weeks, with its Distributed Asset Value (DAV) hitting over $17 billion. According to data from RWA.xyz, Ethereum's DAV was at $17.36 billion on August 14, marking a growth of 0.5% over the last 30 days.
This surge in tokenization has led to an increase in Real-World Assets (RWA) holders, with the number rising by 4.99% to 223,858 over the past month. The 30-day transfer volume for RWA tokens on Ethereum also reached $13.32 billion, up by 18%.
The growing demand for tokenization on Ethereum has coincided with an increase in active addresses, which have risen to 476,048 according to CryptoQuant. This uptick in activity could potentially contribute to a further rise in the Ethereum price, as it reduces selling pressure and fuels a rebound from its multi-year support level.
