Ethereum Validators Remain Bullish Amid Price Surge
Ethereum's recent price surge has left some wondering if it will continue to rise. The altcoin's price has climbed close to $2,500 from its previous level of around $1,900, a hike of over 30% in the past 30 days.
However, this rally may not be entirely driven by investors' confidence in Ethereum's future prospects. According to the Validator Queue, the exit queue for Ethereum has hit 0, indicating that validators are committed to staking and do not plan to unlock their ETH immediately.
This behavior is unusual during a major price rally, where one might expect validators to rush to unlock their assets to sell after a significant gain. However, with Ethereum's largest validator, Bitmine Immersion Technologies, having staked 5,067,309 ETH so far, valued at approximately $12.4 billion, it seems that validators are expecting the asset to appreciate further.
The data also shows that the number of active validators has been recovering since mid-July and reached around 902,000 in August, indicating strong staking participation and limited exit pressure.
