The Ethereum issuance debate continues as Jerome de Tychey proposes EIP-8363, the 'Tapered Issuance Burn' proposal. This proposal aims to reduce ETH issuance by burning a portion of validator rewards, tapering linearly to 0% once 50% of all ETH is staked.

The Ethereum Validators Association (EVA) has listed EIP-8363 on the EVA Hub, allowing validators to signal their support or disapproval. The EVA hub orders proposal feedback by validator stake-weight, giving validators with a real stake a voice in Ethereum proposals.

EIP-7723 outlines the Ethereum upgrade process, stating that client teams ultimately decide what changes get shipped in an upgrade. An EIP needs minimal opposition to progress through the inclusion process and tends to move forward when there's no strong objection from major client teams.
