Ethereum Wallet Activity Surges to New High Amid Rebuilding ETF Demand
Ethereum's price has been stagnant at $1,870, but beneath the surface calm, wallet-level activity has surged. On August 10, onchain data from Santiment revealed that 989,500 daily active addresses moved on Ethereum, the highest single-day tally since March.
The sudden spike in user activity is not isolated; spot ETH ETF demand has been slowly rebuilding after weeks of tepid flows, and Robinhood Chain's Ethereum-settled operations have added a new high-velocity use case.
Experts suggest that this increase in wallet usage is driven by capital being redeployed across the network rather than fleeing it. The rise in user activity appears to be a result of existing wallets re-routing funds, testing execution rails, and positioning for future developments.
