Ethereum Whale Accumulates Record-Breaking 37K ETH in Two Weeks
A significant Ethereum whale has been accumulating large amounts of ETH through over-the-counter (OTC) transactions. Recent data shows that wallet address 0x8c58 acquired another 10,000 ETH just 10 hours ago in three separate OTC purchases valued at approximately $19.1 million.
This latest acquisition follows an earlier series of OTC purchases by the same wallet about two weeks ago, where they bought 27,000 ETH worth around $52.03 million at the time of execution.
The total amount accumulated by this whale in just two weeks is a substantial 37,000 ETH, which translates to approximately $67.13 million based on current market values.
As Ethereum's price has been fluctuating, it recently reclaimed the $1,900 mark and is currently trading at $1,914, up 2.5% over the past 24 hours.
