Ethereum Whale Amasses $71M via Galaxy Digital OTC Desk

An anonymous Ethereum (ETH) whale has made headlines by accumulating $71.1 million worth of the cryptocurrency over two weeks through Galaxy Digital's over-the-counter (OTC) desk.

Blockchain tracking platform Onchain Lens revealed that the whale, identified only by its wallet address 0x8c5, began accumulating ETH in multiple tranches over the past fortnight.

The largest single transfer was part of a recent 10,000 ETH addition, valued at approximately $19.1 million, which occurred within the last three hours.
