Ethereum Whale Awakens After Seven-Year Slumber, Transfers Maker Tokens
An old Ethereum whale that accumulated 40,000 ETH during its early stages has resumed activity after seven years of inactivity.
The address transferred 3,510.42 Maker (MKR) tokens to a new address, worth around $4.41 million at the current market price and with an unrealized profit of about $1.51 million.
The whale initially acquired the MKR tokens between September 2018 and May 2019 at an average price of approximately $828.92 each.
This move is significant, but it's unclear whether the tokens were sold or deposited on an exchange.
