Ethereum Whale Awakens from Seven-Year Slumber
An Ethereum whale, one of the network's oldest identifiable holders, has made its first move in seven years. The address initially amassed 40,000 ETH during Ethereum's early stages.
The whale transferred 3,510.42 Maker (MKR) tokens to a new address from an original position valued at approximately $5.81 million. The transfer carries about $1.51 million in unrealized profit and is currently worth around $4.41 million.
This move is significant because it indicates changes in custody, wallet restructuring, or preparation for a new transaction, rather than a direct exchange deposit.
