A major Ethereum whale investor has made another large purchase of Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) alongside Ethereum (ETH), continuing their aggressive accumulation strategy throughout July. According to data from on-chain analytics platform Ai Yi, this whale withdrew 120 WBTC from a cryptocurrency exchange in the last two hours, worth approximately $7.8 million at current market prices.

This move is seen as a continuation of the investor's long-term holding tendency, as large investors withdrawing assets from centralized exchanges and transferring them to private wallets are generally associated with this behavior. The whale has purchased a total of 59,404.19 ETH and 820 WBTC since the beginning of July, valued at approximately $156 million.

The average cost for an Ethereum purchase is estimated to be around $1,742, while the average cost for Wrapped Bitcoin is approximately $64,329. As the cryptocurrency market has recently seen a price recovery, this portfolio is estimated to have generated approximately $8.93 million in unrealized profit.
