Machi Big Brother, an Ethereum whale, has been reducing their exposure to the cryptocurrency in recent weeks. According to data from Lookonchain and Hyperliquid API, Machi's long position in Ethereum has decreased by 52% since July 14.

The whales' Ethereum long position started at 5,264 ETH on July 14 with a liquidation price of $1,756.76. By August 5, the position had shrunk to 3,450 ETH with a liquidation price of $1,839.37. On August 13, Machi sold another Bored Ape for 8.3 ETH after purchasing it for 34.17 ETH, resulting in a loss of 25.87 ETH.

The sales were made to support the Ethereum long position, but they have not been enough to prevent liquidation. On August 14, Machi's Ethereum long position stood at 2,500 ETH with a liquidation price of $1,859.15, just $22.50 away from being liquidated.
