Ethereum Whales Pile into ETH as Long-Term Confidence Grows
Large Ethereum holders are quietly accumulating tens of millions of dollars worth of ETH, indicating long-term confidence in the network's prospects. According to blockchain analytics platform Lookonchain, wallet address 0x1A72 withdrew 10,500 ETH from OKX, valued at approximately $20.06 million.
This exchange withdrawal is often seen as a bullish signal, suggesting that investors intend to move assets into private wallets or custodial solutions for long-term storage rather than keeping them readily available for sale on exchanges.
Another major investor, identified as OTC whale 0x8c58, acquired an additional 10,000 ETH worth around $19.1 million, following a larger accumulation just two weeks earlier of 27,000 ETH valued at roughly $52.03 million.
This buying activity is closely watched across the cryptocurrency market because whales often possess significant capital, sophisticated research capabilities, and longer investment horizons than retail traders.
