Ethereum Whales Take $76.6 Million Off Binance Ahead of Crucial Price Test
Ethereum whales are showing confidence despite the market trading below $2,000. Recent on-chain data indicates that wallet 0x2d59 took 40,000 ETH, roughly $76.6 million, out of Binance in two different transactions.
This large withdrawal from a centralized exchange is typically seen as a positive indication, suggesting investors plan to hold their assets in private wallets or deploy them elsewhere in decentralized finance rather than sell them on the open market right away.
The timing is intriguing, with Ethereum currently trading at around $1,930. The asset has been testing its 100-day exponential moving average and creating higher lows after bouncing back from a severe correction in June.
