Ethereum's Breakout Bid Against Bitcoin Hinges on 0.03 Resistance Level
Ethereum (ETH) is facing a crucial test as it attempts to break through the 0.03 resistance level against Bitcoin (BTC). The ETH/BTC ratio has been stuck at this level since early Q1, with two failed attempts to surpass it.
However, with Ethereum's dominance reaching below 11% and its gains in Q3 exceeding those of Bitcoin by over 2x, the focus is now on the ratio. A breakout could lead investors to move their capital into ETH, while a rejection may result in additional resistance for the ratio.
On-chain signals are also suggesting that the market is preparing for a movement, with seller exhaustion and institutional positioning aligning in favor of Ethereum. CryptoQuant reports that selling pressure on ETH has never been this exhausted, even below the levels of the 2022 bear market.
