Ethereum's Bull Run Hangs in the Balance at $2,465

Ethereum's recent price surge has stalled at $2,465, leaving investors wondering whether bulls can recapture this crucial level. Despite a 30% weekly gain, Ethereum's price action is complex and influenced by various market forces.

On one hand, strong ETF inflows have been supporting the asset, with net inflows totaling $692.6 million over five consecutive trading sessions. BlackRock's ETHA drove the lion's share of this activity, pulling in $536.8 million across the window. This suggests that institutional investors are actively participating in the market.

However, derivatives exposure remains a significant concern, with futures turnover reaching an astronomical $80.22 billion over 24 hours. This is dwarfed by spot volume, which stood at $6.32 billion during the same period. The market's primed for violent moves if $2,465 fails to hold.

A closer look at on-chain activity reveals a mixed picture. While decentralized exchange (DEX) volume surged 61.25% to $8.28 billion, stablecoin liquidity remained flat, indicating that fresh fiat liquidity hasn't yet washed onto the chain.
