Ethereum's Co-Founders: Where Are They Now?
The Ethereum protocol's Genesis Block was mined on July 30, 2015. In just over a decade, it has become the second most important blockchain in the crypto ecosystem and boasts a market capitalization of more than $230 billion, according to CoinGecko.
Its eight official founders have each profited greatly from their involvement with Ethereum. To mark this milestone, Protos looked into what they're still working on today.
Vitalik Buterin is perhaps the most closely associated with the project, serving as its spokesperson and guiding light. Unlike some of his co-founders, he remains deeply involved with the Ethereum Foundation, which has drawn criticism from traders frustrated by the project's performance.
