Ethereum's Glamsterdam Activation Remains Conditional

The Ethereum team is working towards activating Glamsterdam on the Sepolia testnet by October 6 at 13:53 UTC. However, this date remains conditional due to ongoing issues with bugs and stability.

Glamsterdam has yet to complete a full run on a stable private devnet, and several critical bugs must be addressed before exposing the update to Sepolia.

The mainnet is still targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026, but no specific date has been confirmed. After Sepolia, Hoodi will be the next public testnet, although a date has not been set.
