The influx of capital into Bitcoin spot ETFs has reached new heights in recent weeks. According to data, capital inflows into these funds totaled $986.9 million in the week ending September 5th, with a cumulative total of $3.8 billion over the past three weeks.

This is the strongest three-week performance for these funds in 2026. In contrast, Ethereum spot ETFs have seen a decline in inflows, with $218.4 million attracted over the same period, down from $824.4 million the previous week, representing a roughly 74% decline.

The diverging trends between Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF inflows may indicate different market sentiment towards these assets. Against this backdrop, Ethereum is preparing for its upcoming Gl Amsterdam upgrade, which aims to further scale the network and improve transaction efficiency.

Technical analysis of ETH/USD reveals a prolonged consolidation phase following a failed downside wedge breakout. The price has been trading within established boundaries, with the Point of Control at $2,484 and the upper boundary at $2,521.
