Ethereum's Rally Falters as Key Indicator Flips Bearish
The largest altcoin by market cap, Ethereum (ETH), has stalled at its recent multi-month peak of almost $2,000 after failing to breach the psychological level.
According to Ali Martinez, the TD Sequential indicator, which has been successful in determining ETH's trend reversals, has now flipped bearish and is hinting at further trouble ahead.
Crypto Lens shares a similar opinion, noting that Ethereum has stuck between $1,860 and $1,955 for a reason, as the bull trap 'just getting started.' They predict a run to the $2,000 resistance will be followed by the 'real capitulation,' driving the asset south to somewhere between $1,400 and $900.
Crypto Rover also weighed in on the altcoin's performance, focusing on the trading pair against BTC. He outlined a chart showing ETH has been charting new lower highs and lower lows for the past year, with a current price of 0.03.
