Ethereum's Record Activity Collides with Unresolved Market Structure
Ethereum is facing a crucial test as it struggles to hold onto its rising channel and recover from a recent dip. The network's record-breaking transaction activity of approximately 2.5 million transactions per day has raised questions about whether price performance necessarily translates to adoption.
The current market price of around $1,880 puts Ethereum below its realized price, which represents the average cost at which the circulating supply last moved onchain. Historically, this condition has appeared during periods of market stress and near major cycle lows.
A successful retest of the 0.382 Fibonacci retracement level would give Ethereum another chance to challenge the resistance concentrated around $2,000. However, a failure to hold onto this support could weaken the recovery further and push attention towards lower levels of around $1,800 or even $1,736.
