Ethereum's Stablecoin Liquidity Plummets by 728% in One Quarter
Ethereum's stablecoin netflow on Binance plummeted by 518% weekly, marking a significant reversal in market dynamics. This drop is even more pronounced when compared to the monthly and quarterly baselines, with declines of 347% and 728%, respectively.
The sharp decline in stablecoin liquidity on Binance is being closely watched by analysts as it often serves as an early indicator for broader market repositioning. The fact that this shift stands out among 148 tracked metrics suggests a significant structural move, which can sometimes precede other exchange trends.
Ethereum's staking rate has been steadily increasing, from 33.44% to 33.90%, indicating a gradual asset lock-up on the network. Meanwhile, weekly transaction fees burnt have risen by 48%, but remain 54% below their 90-day average, suggesting that network activity has not yet fully recovered.
A daily close above $2,150 is necessary to confirm a bullish structure shift for Ethereum. If this level is reclaimed, it could signal a reversal in the market's current bearish trend. However, failure to do so may send Ethereum prices back towards $1,700 or even as low as $1,500.
