EU Sanctions Target Russian Arctic Vessels and Crypto Operators
The European Union has imposed new sanctions on Russia, including more than 100 banks and crypto operators.
Among the sanctioned entities are over 50 military-industrial companies and several oil refineries.
The EU's 21st package of sanctions also includes more than 40 vessels in Russia's shadow fleet, which operate under false flags or through shell companies.
The ships on the list include LNG carriers, tankers, and other vessels involved in deliveries to Russian ports in the Arctic.
