EU Slaps Sanctions on 14 Non-EU Crypto Platforms Over Russia Ties
The European Union has imposed transaction bans on 14 non-EU crypto platforms as part of its sanctions package against Russia.
The Council of the European Union adopted the 21st sanctions package on July 23, which includes restrictions on crypto asset services from third countries that facilitate Russian sanctions evasion.
This move affects platforms based in jurisdictions like Georgia, the UAE, and Panama, among others.
The targeted platforms include Rapira, Aifory Pro, and EXMO, among others.
