EUR/USD Holds Steady Amid Middle East Uncertainty
The EUR/USD pair remains steady around the 1.1545-1.1550 area, as traders await further developments on the Middle East crisis and this week's US inflation figures.
Following last Friday's disappointing US Nonfarm Payrolls (NFP) report, investors scaled back their expectations for an immediate interest rate hike by the Federal Reserve, failing to boost the US Dollar (USD).
Despite this, some investors still anticipate a rate hike by the end of the year due to inflation risks stemming from oil price volatility.
This week's key economic indicators include Wednesday's Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Thursday's Producer Price Index (PPI), which will provide cues about the Fed's future policy path.
