Euro Sees Limited Downside as Recovery Takes Shape
The Euro has found some stability after recent losses and is attempting a modest recovery from its upper-1.15 lows, according to Scotiabank strategists Shaun Osborne and Eric Theoret.
The EUR is up a fractional 0.1% against the US Dollar and is a mid-performer among G10 currencies as it heads into Monday's NA session.
Fundamentals and relative central bank policy will likely remain in focus, especially with the next ECB decision on September 10 and the Fed decision on September 16.
The euro area Consumer Price Index is expected to make a fresh cycle peak of 3.3% this week, and yield spreads are showing signs of a renewed recovery.
