Euro Stablecoin Supply Surges 22.6% in 2026
The supply of euro stablecoins surged by 22.6% in 2026, reaching $848.1 million on September 7.
This growth is notable, especially when compared to dollar stablecoins, which added only $159 million over the same period and still hold a dominant market share of 99.5%. The euro stablecoin supply added roughly $156 million in net supply during the first eight months of 2026.
The majority of new issuance came from Ethereum, which now holds 69.4% of the euro stablecoin market, followed by Solana with a 14.7% share.
