Expa and Coinbase Backed Fin.com Takes Aim at Cross-Border Payments Hurdles
Fin.com, a New York-based company backed by Expa and Coinbase Ventures, has emerged from stealth mode after raising $20 million in seed funding. The funds will be used to develop global stablecoin infrastructure.
The firm's mission is to 'finish the job' of facilitating cross-border payments by providing businesses with white-label payment tools. These tools allow users to fund wallets from exchanges like Binance and Crypto.com, while helping platforms move corporate funds across borders.
Fin.com has offices in several locations, including Las Vegas, Dubai, Dhaka, Bangalore, and Lahore, and has identified South Asia, Africa, and the Middle East as key markets. The founders, Nabeel Alamgir and Mustafa Dar, have personal experience with the challenges of sending money abroad.
