Experts: Weakening Dollar and AI Drive Bitcoin's Growth into History Books
The value of Bitcoin (BTC) has been on the rise, and experts believe this trend is here to stay. According to an analysis by Cole, two key factors are driving Bitcoin's growth: the weakening dollar and the rising price of BTC relative to gold.
Cole notes that the dollar's weakness against other national currencies will continue in the long term, creating a favorable environment for Bitcoin. He also points out that the rise in BTC's price relative to gold has reached 20% over the past week, a trend that has historically signaled a reversal in Bitcoin's trend against the dollar.
Both Cole and Gerovich, another expert, believe that the development of AI is a structural factor driving Bitcoin's growth. They argue that as AI reduces the cost of creating digital products, the importance of scarce assets like BTC becomes more pronounced.
Cole predicts that Bitcoin's next cycle will be 'the most powerful in history' due to these factors and the favorable macroeconomic environment. As of August 24, Metaplanet and Strive hold a combined total of nearly $5 billion worth of BTC at an exchange rate of $77,500.
