F2Pool Co-Founder Chun Wang's Binance Deposits Spark Selling Pressure Fears
Chun Wang, co-founder of F2Pool, has resumed depositing cryptocurrencies to Binance after a two-month accumulation strategy. In May and June, he withdrew $160 million worth of ETH and $61 million worth of WBTC from centralized exchanges to non-custodial wallets and DeFi protocols.
This move was initially seen as a bullish signal, reducing the supply available in the immediate market. However, Wang's recent behavior has sparked concerns among traders and investors due to the potential increase in selling pressure.
Starting July 2, Wang initiated continuous deposits to Binance, including an initial $6.7 million worth of ETH. On July 27, he deposited an additional $6.5 million worth of ETH to Binance, raising concerns among market participants.
