Fake GTA 6 Leak Site Steals Crypto Wallets with Multi-Chain Drainer
A fake GTA 6 leak site has been discovered by Malwarebytes experts, which is targeting crypto wallets with a multi-chain drainer. The website appears to be a fan-made countdown using real GTA 6 promotional content and PS5/Xbox Series X|S details, but also includes fraudulent ads for a leaked game copy for $50 or 1 SOL ($102 at the time of writing).
The site operators are hiding two malicious blocks within the payment section, which targets Solana wallets, siphoning off funds while leaving just enough for transaction fees. The second script disguises itself as a genuine wallet-connection tool to drain multiple chains, including Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Smart Chain, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Base, and Fantom.
Users who authorize transactions on the fake GTA 6 leak site stand to lose their entire wallet balance. This is identical to previous fraudulent early-access and Extended-Look GTA 6 pages. The problem will likely persist with no GTA 6 PC version release planned yet, making prevention dependent on transaction simulations, blocklists, and a more understandable signing process in both EVM and Solana-based ecosystems.
