Fake World Assets Outpaces Collector Crypt in Daily Revenue
Token Works' Fake World Assets has surpassed Collector Crypt in daily revenue, marking a significant milestone for the Ethereum-based NFT gacha protocol. Since its relaunch on July 20, FWA has facilitated over $2 million in transaction volume across 90,000 total transactions, with around 35,000 individual purchases.
The protocol's success is all the more remarkable given that it was built by a two-person team and self-funded, without any venture capital backing. Token Works' FWA uses a dynamic pricing model based on ETH backing, and incorporates Chainlink VRF for verifiable randomness in its gacha pulls.
The protocol also employs a 'loss-to-earn' mechanism, which compensates users who deposit assets that get pulled by others through $FWA token emissions and fee distributions. This approach has helped to create consistent volume and revenue, regardless of secondary market conditions.
