FalconX Credit Vault Size and Chain Coverage Reportedly Vary Widely
Conflicting reports have emerged about the size and chain coverage of FalconX Credit Vault, a tokenized institutional credit product integrated with RedStone's pricing infrastructure. According to CryptoBriefing, the vault holds approximately $145 million in total value locked (TVL) across Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism. In contrast, crypto.news reported that the vault carries more than $170 million in private-credit exposure on Monad, Plume, and MegaETH.
The discrepancy highlights the challenges of verifying data in the fast-moving tokenized credit space. RedStone's feed supplies a fair-value estimate of AA_FalconXUSDC, but Kazmierczak stressed that lending protocols should not treat this as the price they are certain to recover during a forced sale.
Kazmierczak emphasized the need for haircuts and realistic secondary-market depth assumptions when using tokenized assets as collateral. He also highlighted the importance of a settlement mechanism like RedStone Settle, which auctions liquidation or redemption rights to whitelisted solvers that have completed know-your-customer checks.
