First Digital Labs' stablecoin FDUSD has been listed on Hong Kong's HashKey Exchange, allowing professional investors to trade it directly against the US dollar and use it in Bitcoin and Ether transactions.

The exchange now supports three spot trading pairs: FDUSD/USD, BTC/FDUSD, and ETH/FDUSD. The FDUSD/USD pair enables users to exchange dollars for FDUSD without using another stablecoin.

Vincent Chok, founder and CEO of First Digital, said Hong Kong is establishing itself as a key hub in Asia's regulated markets. He added that stablecoins are creating new opportunities to connect fiat liquidity with on-chain markets.

HashKey Exchange holds a license from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, and trading in the newly supported pairs is limited to professional investors. First Digital plans to continue expanding support for FDUSD across exchanges, blockchain networks, and payment services.
